Assuming that a test is read within the time limit, and the line has color to it: I think chemical pregnancies are much more common than people think, and that's where the "evap" line was questioned. The test was positive, it did not adhere, and that is why the later are negative. People began to blame the test for being false. That's why it's not a good idea to try too early, as most chemicals happen before someone usually took a pregnancy test. I think I have answered the wrong person with my first comment as there was someone who had said before that you don't have evap lines I think that the fact that people take evap lines as positive has more to do with the so-called increase in chemical pregnancy as they are taking it as positive then the rest of the tests are negative.
